Study the Spatiotemporal Variations of some Cloud Properties Over Iraq

Abstract A cloud is a collection of water droplets or ice crystals, both them suspended in the air. The aim this work to study spatiotemporal variations properties over six selected cities Iraq which they are (Mosul, Khanaqin, Baghdad, Rutba, Kut, and Basra) at multi-pressure levels using remote sensing data for period from (1981) (2020). results show that values temperature specific humidity all decrease with increased height maximum value occurred summer months, relative winter months decreased cities, more than 60% happened Mosul Khanaqin cities. Also, level 300 hpa, fraction clouds 0.14 city Mar Mid Apr. content (CIWC) upper 13 kg/kg liquid (CLWC) extends surface about 500 hpa city, while snow (CSWC) Mosul, 900 800 Kut Basra rain (CRWC) 750 cites except Rutba there no rainwater existed 3 city. monthly showed rainfall Oct May reached 65 mm has average other reach 35 because meteorological microphysical variables higher other.
